METC Student Intramural Co-Ed Soccer

The METC fitness center is taking soccer registrations for all interested METC students only. A letter of intent from the unit sports representative is due March 18. A coaches meeting will be held March 18 at the METC Fitness and Sports Center. Games begin on March 26. Games will be played at Pershing Sports Complex. Units may have more than one team. Intramural Golf

JBSA-Fort Sam Houston METC Fitness Center offers competitive golf at no cost to all DOD ID cardholders ages 18 and older. Golfing is held at the JBSA-FSH Golf Club. League play begins April 9. Eligible men and women are welcomed to compete in a free lifting challenge hosted by METC Fitness Center. Respectively, in a combined bench press, dead lift and squat challenge, men’s weight lifting goal is 1000 lbs and women’s weight lifting goal is 500 lbs. Prizes are awarded to the top lifters in each category. Registration is encouraged and can be completed at the METC Fitness Center. For more information, call (210) 808-5709.
