Team Kickball Registration JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Youth Programs May 1 to June 3 Dust off your running shoes and get ready to play Kickball! Kickball is a game that was invented in the United States of America in the early half of the twentieth century. Containing elements of soccer and softball but most of baseball, the object in a kickball match is for one team to score more runs than the other, thus winning the game! Registration is required through CYPBMS by June 1. Current physical and immunization record required. Spaces limited. Kickball season will run June 22 through Aug 3. Forget the calories for just one day and enjoy a sweet, tall, thick and delicious chocolate milkshake with your friends! Mix and match ice cream flavors with all your favorite toppings or try something new and pay homage to one of America’s favorite past-times! National Taco Day Celebration Oct. 4 • 4:30-5:30 p.m. It doesn’t have to be Tuesday to enjoy your favorite soft or hard-shelled tortilla treat. The history of tacos predates the arrival of Europeans in Mexico. Anthropological evidence shows the native people living in the lake region of the Valley of Mexico traditionally ate tacos filled with small fish.
