**Month of the Military Child Celebration Moves Indoors to Ed W. Parker Youth Center**
Due to anticipated inclement weather, the Month of the Military Child celebration scheduled for Saturday, April 5, will now be held indoors at the Ed W. Parker Youth Center. The event will still take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
We are excited to continue celebrating our military children and their resilience at this new location. The Ed W. Parker Youth Center offers the best alternative to ensure a fun and engaging experience for everyone. We will continue with several planned activities, including arts and crafts, music, carnival games, and activities from our great community partners.
We encourage all families to join us for this special event honoring our military children.

Celebrating the Strength Behind the Uniform: Military Kids
April 5 • 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
April is the Month of the Military Child – a time to honor the resilience, courage, and sacrifices of our youngest heroes. Join us at Fort Sam Houston’s Salado Creek Park as we celebrate military children across JBSA. This celebration is free to the community and will showcase numerous games, activities, music, bounce houses, food trucks, and much more. Don’t miss this event honoring our military children.
