Ladies and gentlemen may try one or all triathlon events in the month of May. All events are free and open to all DOD ID cardholders. On May 8 and 9, start small with Triathlon #1 consisting of a 200-meter swim, 3-mile bike ride and 1-mile run. Take the next step May 15 and 16 with Triathlon #2  consisting of a 400-meter swim, 5-mile bike ride and a 2-mile run. Move up to Triathlon #3 on May 22 and 23 consisting of 500-meter swim, 10-mile bike ride and a 2.5-mile run. Take the giant leap with Triathlon #4 on May 29 and 30 consisting of 750 meter swim, 10-mile bike ride and a 5-mile run. The bike and run portions may be completed indoors or outdoors. MISERY

FSH Harlequin Theater

MISERY follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home. While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads his latest book and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain. Annie forces Paul to write a new Misery novel, and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go anywhere. The irate Annie has Paul writing as if his life depends on it, and it does. Come watch this play at The Fort Sam Houston Theatre from April 29-June 4 Fridays and Saturdays. Military $20, Civilians $22, Students $18 and 12 and younger $10. America’s Kids Run

The America's Kids Run is a FREE family run for children and adults. The first 50 participants registered will receive a free America's Kids Run T-shirt. Children ages 5-6 run a half mile, ages 7-8 run a full mile, ages 9-13 run two miles and parents can run the 5K or run along with their children.
