Glow in the Park

MacArthur Parade Field Stanley & Worth Roads, Fort Sam Houston, TX

Put on your neon war paint and come light up the night at the JBSA Glow in the Park Run on Feb. 26 at 5 p.m.  Don’t worry about being the best or fastest…This event is JUST FOR FUN! Come run, walk or dance through a myriad of crazy lighting effects and themed glow stations on this illuminated nighttime course. Warm up with a high energy Zumba® dance session and Orange Theory fitness experts before the race begins at approximately 7:30 p.m. Remember, the goal for this event is just to have FUN!  After you victoriously reach the finish line, you can show off your dance moves and your glow spirit at a celebratory dance party while enjoying some food, beverages, games and fun. Fitness & Sports Center 24/7 Access Will Soon Be Available

JBSA Fitness Centers

For those interested in gaining access, effective March 7 you will be allowed to register at the front desk of the participating Fitness & Sports Centers (LAK-Warhawk, Chaparral, Gateway, Chapman, Kelly; RND-Rambler; FSH-Jimmy Brought, Camp Bullis). Registration applies to all those interested users, new and returning. You must be at least 18 years of age to register. After hours access will be available on March 21. If you have any questions, please see one of your Fitness & Sports Center team members at the front desk.

Kids Bowl Free

JBSA Bowling Centers

The annual Kids Bowl Free program is upon us! This program is available to all JBSA youth and registration is required. Kids receive two free games of bowling each day (rental shoes not included). Must register at kidsbowlfree.com, select military bowling centers, then select JBSA Bowling Center of your choice. Once registered, select available times to receive the two free games of bowling. Join us every first Friday of the month from May to August: May 6, June 3, June 30 and Aug. 5 from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. There will be music, food truck, beverage cantina (serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages) and outdoor games like corn hole, giant jenga and a driving range. America’s Kids Run

The America's Kids Run is a FREE family run for children and adults. The first 50 participants registered will receive a free America's Kids Run T-shirt. Children ages 5-6 run a half mile, ages 7-8 run a full mile, ages 9-13 run two miles and parents can run the 5K or run along with their children.
