JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Golf course offers active-duty military an opportunity to improve their golf skills. There is no cost to participate so golfers can take full advantage of tips to tweek all facets of their game. Clinics are held the first and third Saturdays of the month. Pick-A-Pro Tournament April 6 • 8 a.m. to 12:30 tee times Individuals participating in this year’s event will blind draw a PGA Professional that made the cut at the Masters’ Golf Tournament. Format is individual stroke play. Scoring per hole is the combination of the golfer’s score and the Pro’s score. The lowest combined scores are the winners. Entry fee is $25 per person. Fee does not include greens fee and cart fee. Sign up through The Greens @ JBSA App. by April 4. Golfers will be sent their start times and all the necessary information.
JBSA-Fort Sam Houston METC Fitness Center offers competitive golf at no cost to all DOD ID cardholders ages 18 and older. Golfing is held at the JBSA-FSH Golf Club. League play begins April 9.
