USS Lexington Guided Tour July 20 • 6:00 AM JBSA-Lackland Outdoor Recreation Join us for a guided tour of the famous USS Lexington aircraft carrier in Corpus Christi. On our "Hard Hat" tour, we will have a guided deep exploration of 15 areas that are not open to the public. The deadline to sign up is July 13 or when full. Teen Music Camp

JBSA Youth Programs

Teen Music Camp July 21-23 JBSA-Randolph Youth Programs Write, and perform music, beats, & poetry! A faculty of top music professionals will teach and inspire camp youth with courses in songwriting, creative writing, music foundation, and performance skill, as well as help campers find their individual voices. Activities will include daily workshops, nightly open mics with group and individual performances, and a canoe trip on the Guadalupe River. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Open to teens, ages 13-18. Price is $175 per youth. JBSA Child and Youth Programs can give parents a much-needed break through the GPAB/PNO Programs. These programs are for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. The cost is $35 per child with a sibling discount or FREE with a Give Parents a Break referral. The last day to register is the Wednesday Prior to the event. JBSA Back to School Bash Aug. 10 • 8 a.m. to noon JBSA-Fort Sam Houston School-Age Care • Bldg. 2515 (next to the Exchange) Help us, help you get ready for back to school. Meet at the School-Age Care building 2515, next to the Post Exchange for free school supplies for military connected students grades pre-K to 8th while supplies last. You must bring your DoD ID card and your children or their report card and DoD ID card. Enjoy music and interactive activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. School-Age Care Summer Camp Registration May 28 to August 23 JBSA School Age Care Programs JBSA offers Summer Camp at three accredited School-Age Care Programs. Patrons not enrolled currently in School-Age Care Programs can request a slot for camp by logging on to Military Child Care.com and selecting the preferred location. Requests will be taken until full. Current enrolled families can contact the facility their child is enrolled in to secure their slots. Fees are based on total family income.
