Do you need care for your children during Thanksgiving Break? Patrons can request a slot for camp starting Oct. 14 by logging on to MilitaryChildCare.com and selecting the preferred location. Requests will be taken until full. Fees are based on total family income. The Thanksgiving Camp is held Nov. 25-27. Nov. 29 is the “AETC Family Day” and space will be offered on a reservation-only basis. JBSA Teen & Pre-Teen Fall Break Camp Registration Do you need quality programming and activities for your pre-teen or teen during Fall Break? JBSA Youth Programs provides high-quality programs supporting engineering concepts, leadership, cooking, arts, and field trips for youth ages 9-18. Patrons can request a slot for camp starting Oct. 14 by registering in CYPBMS. The cost for camp is $110 per youth. JBSA-Lackland Gateway Club hosts Variety Night as DJ Tony Style plays a wide variety of music from 4-10 p.m. Friday nights in the Lone Star Lounge. Order great food and beverages from the Bar Menu. Fall Fest Fitness Celebration

FREE EVENT Fall Fitness Celebration Oct. 19 • 7:30 a.m. • Free This Fall Fitness Celebration at Heritage Park is for all ages, including young ones. We will have a 5K run for our runners and a 1.5-mile run/walk for the young athletes and their parents who would like to participate with their kids. We have not forgotten bikers--the 10-mile bike ride will start right after the 5K run. Giveaways are provided while supplies last. Join us to celebrate fall with healthy exercise and fun!

June Weight Lift Challenge June 15 • 9:30 AM • Free JBSA-Fort Sam Houston METC Fitness Center Men and women attempt to lift 1000 lbs. and 500 lbs., respectively, in a combined bench press, deadlift and squat challenge.
