New Year AETC Family Day Dec. 31 • 1-7 p.m. Treat your family to a fun-filled day at the Bowling Center and enjoy the “Family Day” special, which includes two hours of bowling, shoe rental, a 20-ounce soda each, a large pizza for up to six bowlers. 3D Archery Shoot Jan. 4 & 5 and Feb. 1 & 2 JBSA-Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation Center 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The 3D Archery Range features 30 life-like animal targets including bears, black panthers, deer, and alligators. Targets are set up at various distances between 5 & 55 yards. 3D archery is open to the General Public. Traditional (Long Bows and Recurve Bows( and Compound Bows are allowed but No Crossbows. Camp Bullis ODR has Recurve Bows available to rent for $20 each. Registration is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants may start the course as soon as they register. Cost is: $5 for E1-E4, active-duty or medically retired $15 for ages 13 and older $5 for youth ages 12 and younger

502d Force Support Squadron Presents Lifeguard Course JBSA-FSH Aquatic Center Earn Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR & AED certification during these sessions This Red Cross class is designed for people interested in being certified as a lifeguard and for employment as a GS-2 lifeguard for the summer of 2025. Participants must be 15 or older to sign up for the course. Participants must: • Swim 150 Meters, tread water for two minutes without use of your arms, followed by a 50-meter swim. (Continuous No Breaks In-between) • Complete a 20-meter Swim, retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom of the pool and return to the starting point.
