Lackland Performing Arts

Lackland Performing Arts is looking for participants of all ages to join our club. We are looking for singers, dancers, performers, set builders, stagehands and more! If you have any interest in theater and the arts, come and join! This opportunity is open to everyone with base access. We will have 3 meetings to build our team together before deciding which plays to perform, as well as other events such as fashion shows, variety shows, and haunted houses. Meeting times are below Wednesday, November 13, 2024 (5pm-7pm) @ Arnold Hall Wednesday, December 18, 2024 (5pm-7pm) @ Bob Hope Theater Wednesday, January 15, 2025 (5pm-7pm) @ Arnold Hall (This is not an audition; this is an open casting to build the LAK Performing Arts group up first. Then we will decide on plays, etc and do formal auditions.)

Pre-Teen Lock In Nov. 15-16 • 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday night is the perfect time to meet up with your friends for Marvel vs. DC Pre-Teen Lock-In for youth ages 9-12. There will be a variety of activities, food, a field trip and lots of fun! Wear your favorite Marvel or DC shirt or costume. The registration fee is $35 and is due in CYPBMS by Nov. 12.

Fall Camp Registration (School Age Care)

Do you need care for your children during Thanksgiving Break? Patrons can request a slot for camp starting Oct. 14 by logging on to MilitaryChildCare.com and selecting the preferred location. Requests will be taken until full. Fees are based on total family income. The Thanksgiving Camp is held Nov. 25-27. Nov. 29 is the “AETC Family Day” and space will be offered on a reservation-only basis.
