Gateway Hill Round Up
LAK Gateway Fitness CenterThe event is a two-person, best ball team format. Entry fee is $60 per person before COB on March 9 and includes range balls, tee gift and lunch after final round. LifeGuard Course: Train to Save
LAK Aquatic CentersStudents will earn an American Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR and AED once they pass the course. This class is for ages 15 and older and takes place at the Skylark Aquatics Center. For more information, call (210) 632-5868.
Pot-o-Gold Scramble
FSH Golf CourseFollow the rainbow to JBSA- Fort Sam Houston Golf Course and don't miss the Pot-o-Gold Scramble! March 12 at 12:20 p.m. This will be a two-player scramble with a $25 fee which includes green and cart fees, prizes and lunch. Sign up through the JBSA Golf App. The deadline to sign up is March 10. Water Safety Instructor Class
LAK Aquatic CentersEarn a certification in Water Safety Instructor by being part of the JBSA-Lackland Aquatic Center Water Safety Instructor Class! March 19-20 and 26-27. This class has a price of $160 due after passing pre-test. To enter this course you must be 16 years old or older. The prerequisite skills test will be given on the first day of class and must be passed: 1- Level 4 stroke performance; 25 yard front crawl, 25 yard breaststroke, 25 yard elementary backstroke, 25 yard sidestroke, 15 yard butterfly. 2- Maintain on back for 1 minute in deep water (floating or sculling). 3- Tread water for 1 minute.
