Earn a certification in Water Safety Instructor by being part of the JBSA-Lackland Aquatic Center Water Safety Instructor Class! March 19-20 and 26-27. This class has a price of $160 due after passing pre-test. To enter this course you must be 16 years old or older. The prerequisite skills test will be given on the first day of class and must be passed: 1- Level 4 stroke performance; 25 yard front crawl, 25 yard breaststroke, 25 yard elementary backstroke, 25 yard sidestroke, 15 yard butterfly. 2- Maintain on back for 1 minute in deep water (floating or sculling). 3- Tread water for 1 minute.
