Every first Friday of the month in 2023 JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Golf Course hosts a golf scramble. The cost for all DOD ID cardholders and golf course members is $35. Cost for nonmembers is $45. The price includes green fee, golf cart and a social with lunch after the round. Roller skate with us on a simulated ice rink decorated like a winter wonderland. Please register in CYPBMS for your family to attend this free event and enjoy skating on faux ice. This two-person shamble is a fun format where you choose the best tee shot then play your own ball from that point and record the lower of the two scores. The cost is $20 per person plus cart and greens fee. Net and Gross will be paid to teams that place. The team handicap is the lower of the two handicaps. The JBSA-Lackland Gateway Club is having a Beach Party Bash at the Lone Star Lounge January 27th from 4-11 PM. The food special of the night is two pulled pork sliders. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Tony Style.

Mulligan's Grill will close January 30th for a serving line and equipment replacement. The installation will take approximately 3 weeks. The renovation will create an aesthetically pleasing appearance, increase menu capability, reduce wait times, and improve food quality due to appropriate equipment.
