Elliptical Mile Challenge August • Normal duty hours JBSA-Fort Sam Houston METC Fitness Center METC Fitness Center patrons complete as many miles as they can on an elliptical machine at a minimum resistance level of 5.0. Sign up at the front desk. Place completed miles in the binder at the front desk. The patron with the highest mileage will be awarded a prize. Open to all DoD cardholders ages 18 and older. Skylark July/August Bowling Events Three For $9 Tuesdays | 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Bowl three games for only $9, what a great deal! Shoe rental is $4 per person. Hourly Bowling Special Fridays | 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $20 per hour, per lane for up to six guests. Shoe rental is $4 per person. Cosmic Bowling Saturdays | 5-10 p.m. Bowl with contemporary music and LED lane lighting throughout the center. Guests can enjoy one hour of bowling for $35 per lane for up to six people. Shoe rental is $4 per person. In addition, DJ Style will play all your favorites on the second Saturday of the month! Family Four Pack Sundays | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A family of four can enjoy two hours of bowling, a large two-topping pizza and four fountain beverages for just $90. Rental shoes are included. Flag Football and Cheerleading Registration Register from Aug. 1 - Sep. 6 JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Youth Programs It is time to snap, check down and pass for a touchdown! JBSA Fort Sam Houston Youth Sports Program is ready for ages 5-12 to participate in flag football and cheerleading. Registration runs Aug. 1 to Sept. 6 through CYPBMS. R4R: Skydiving

RECHARGE FOR RESILIENCY Skydiving Sept. 7 | 8 AM Lackland Outdoor Recreation Skydive Spaceland San Marcos * Open to Active Duty Personnel and Active Duty Reservists * Experience SKYDIVING at this R4R RECON funded event. Participants will have the opportunity to jump from 14,000 feet and free fall at 120 mph! Each person will jump and be harnessed to an experienced instructor! The rate is $49 per person.
