4th of July Golf Events July 4 • 8 AM Shotgun start Joint Base San Antonio Golf Courses Randolph Independence Day Scramble Head to the Golf Course for a two- person scramble. The cost is $20 plus greens fee and cart rental fee. Net and gross will be paid to teams that place. Lackland Independence Day Scramble This is a one-person scramble. The entry is $27 plus greens fee and cart rental. The entry fee includes lunch and prizes. Sign up by July 3. Golfers will be sent their start times and all the necessary information. Fort Sam Houston Red, White, and Blue Tournament This is a two-person scramble event, where golfers will alternate tee boxes on every hole. The entry fee for the event is $20 per person plus greens fee and cart rental fee. The entry fee goes towards the prize fund. Golfers will be sent their start times and all the necessary information. Missoula Performing Arts Camp July 22-26 • Free event Missoula Performing Arts Camp is back again for another season. Ages 5-18 are invited to experience the magic of live performance and release their inner artistic stage presence. JBSA-Lackland Outdoor Recreation is having Workshop Wednesday to teach guests the following skills: How to Maintain Your Bike 101 July 10 | 5:30-6:30 PM Before you hit the trails, come by, and learn what it takes to keep your bike in tip-top shape. This course will go over basic maintenance for both road bikes and mountain bikes. Learn how to take care of your bike and help extend its longevity. Whether you're a pro rider or still have your training wheels, there's something for everyone here. How to Tow and Haul a Trailer Aug. 14 | 5:30-6:30 PM Towing anything can be extremely nerve-racking without proper guidance or experience. Let your fears melt away as we go over the proper way to hitch and tow any equipment with ease. Participants must have a valid Driver's License to participate.
