JBSA Child Development Programs

Kinderspot care we can share Short-term care option Kinderspot allows families who are enrolled at a participating Air Force child development center to offer their weeklong blocks of time to other families when they are away from the child care center. Families receive a credit to their account when another family rents their spot. Visit https://help.kinderspot.oddball.io/ for more information and to download the Kinderspot app. CDC Hourly Care $8 hourly rate Hourly care is offered at all of our CDCs and is available based on projected daily attendance for full-time enrolled children. New Year Bowling Special

New Year AETC Family Day Dec. 31 • 1-7 p.m. Treat your family to a fun-filled day at the Bowling Center and enjoy the “Family Day” special, which includes two hours of bowling, shoe rental, a 20-ounce soda each, a large pizza for up to six bowlers. Central Post Fitness Center JBSA-Fort Sam Houston January 1-31 Five-Mile Cardio Challenge Mon.-Fri. • 5-6 p.m. • Free Patrons can use treadmills, spin bikes, ellipticals, or rowing machines to test their cardio endurance and to complete this challenge. Each patron is to make sure a staff member records their time and distance. Prizes will be given to the person with the longest distance on each piece of equipment at the end of the month. Bench Press Competition Mon., Wed., and Fri. • 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. • Free Patrons are invited to come out to see who can bench the most weight. There will be categories for men and women but no weight class. Each patron is to make sure a staff member verifies the weight benched. The man and woman who lift the most weight will be awarded a prize at the end of the month. Events are open to all DOD ID Cardholders. EVENTS ARE OPEN TO ALL DOD ID CARDHOLDERS. NO FEES REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE

3D Archery Shoot at Camp Bullis ODR

3D Archery Shoot Jan. 4 & 5 and Feb. 1 & 2 JBSA-Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation Center 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The 3D Archery Range features 30 life-like animal targets including bears, black panthers, deer, and alligators. Targets are set up at various distances between 5 & 55 yards. 3D archery is open to the General Public. Traditional (Long Bows and Recurve Bows( and Compound Bows are allowed but No Crossbows. Camp Bullis ODR has Recurve Bows available to rent for $20 each. Registration is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants may start the course as soon as they register. Cost is: $5 for E1-E4, active-duty or medically retired $15 for ages 13 and older $5 for youth ages 12 and younger
