The 3D Archery Range features 30 life-like animal targets including bears, black panthers, deer and alligators. Targets are set up at various distances between 5 & 55 yards. Join us for a family, adventure filled weekend soaking up the sun and fun at JBSA Recreation at Canyon Lake. Participants will check-in to the lake Friday evening from 1-7 p.m. with a check out of Sunday morning by 11 a.m. Campers will be staying in the new bungalows. Saturday will feature fun on the water with three pontoons ready to take families out on the water as well as a scheduled Sunset Cruise that evening. For those not wanting to venture out on the pontoons, there will be paddle equipment on the beach for families to use. As the day winds down, guest will be treated to a spectacular Star Gazing experience of the solar system and beyond through powerful telescopes. For a special treat, guests will join the staff for a scrumptious Dutch oven dessert - sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.
