Stair Climb Challenge Oct. 1-28 Patrons use stair stepper equipment to complete weekly challenges. The first week challenge is to complete 897 steps to simulate the Washington Monument; second week, complete 952 steps to simulate the Tower of the Americas; third week, complete 1576 steps to simulate the Empire State Building and in the fourth week, complete 2109 steps to simulate the Willis Tower. The event is open to all DoD ID cardholders at no cost. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female competitors with the most steps completed. Children ages 3-4 learn the fundamentals of basketball in a non-competitive/team format developmental program. Parents are required to participate as an extension of the instructor.
