Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation

License to Carry Handgun classes are held at the Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC). Students must be age 18 or older to register for the class unless they are active-duty military. You need to be familiar with your firearm; no first-time shooters. Students must also meet federal qualifications to purchase a handgun. The cost of the class is $80. Successful completion of the class is recommended prior to purchasing a handgun. Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation

The 3D Archery Range features 30 life-like animal targets including bears, black panthers, deer and alligators. Targets are set up at various distances between 5 & 55 yards. Traditional (Long Bows and Recurve Bows) and Compound Bows are allowed but NO CROSSBOWS. The RNGRC has Recurve Bows available to rent for $15 each. Competition Shoot Registration is 8-10 a.m. Participants may start the course as soon as registered. Cost is: $10 for E1-E4, active-duty or medically retired $20 for ages 13 and older The Fun Shoot Registration is 8-11 a.m. Participants may start the course as soon as registered. 3-D Archery Shoot May 28-29 and June 25-26 Competition: Registration 8-10 a.m. $10 E1-E4, Active duty or medically retired $20 all others 13 years and older Fun Shoot: Registration 8-11 a.m. $5 E1-E4, active duty or medically retired $15 all others 13 years and older $5 youth 12 years and younger License to Carry Classes May 7 & 21 and June 4 & 18 | 8 AM to 1 PM | $80 per person Concealed Handgun License (CHL), also known as the License to Carry Classes (LTC), are held twice a month. In order to register for the class, students must be 21 years old unless they are active duty military and then they must be 18 or older (DoD ID card holder only).
