Central Post July Events The Fort Sam Houston Central Post offers two great challenges further your efforts toward your New Years resolution. Bench Press Competition • Free July 1-31 • Mon., Wed., and Fri. • 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patrons bench press the most weight during the month in categories for men and women. A staff member must verify weight lifted. The winners in each category are awarded a prize at the end of the month. Five-Mile Cardio Challenge • Free July 1-31 • Mon.-Fri. • 5-6 p.m. Challenge yourself on treadmills, spin bikes, ellipticals and rowers for distance. A staff member must verify distance completed. Prizes awarded to the contestant with the longest distance on each piece of equipment at the end of the month. Events are open to all DoD ID cardholders. For more information, call (210) 221-3593.

JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Central Post Fitness Center Deadlift Competition August 1-30 • Mon. - Fri. • 6 AM - 5 PM Challenge is to lift the most weight Categories for men and women - no weight class Staff member must verify each time the weight is pressed/lifted Top winners of each category win prize at the end of month Open to all DOD ID cardholders.
