The first-place winner in each sub-category will receive a $500 Amazon Gift Card, the second place will receive $400, and the third place will receive $300! Categories: Adult: Novice Adult: Accomplished Teens: 13 – 17 years Pre-teens: 9 – 12 years Children: 6 – 8 years 2D Art is considered to be two-dimensional as a drawing, sketch, or painting. Accepted media include oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, mixed media, gouache, egg tempera, pen and ink, charcoal, colored pencil, scratchboard, markers and metal point. (Digital art is not an accepted medium). 3D Art is considered to be three-dimensional such as, sculpture, ceramic, pottery, clay, glass art, metals, jewelry, wood, fiber, and textile. Photography is considered to be the practice of capturing images by exposing light-sensitive film or a digital sensor directly to the scene being photographed. It involves composing a single image in-camera, without significant post-processing or manipulation. Traditional photography aims to depict a scene or subject as faithfully as possible, relying on natural lighting and minimal alterations. EARTH DAY GARDENING April 22 ● 5:30-6:30 p.m. Join us for a fun and creative way to celebrate sustainability by crafting your own recycled planters on Earth Day! By combining sustainability with creativity, you will learn how to reduce waste and cultivate your own green spaces in a fun and educational way. The cost of the event is $15. Each patron will receive the tools to create a planter with soil ad a plant and take-home instructions.
