April Events at JBSA-Lackland Youth Programs

4-H Tour Kickoff
April 3 • 4-6 p.m.
Active members of Youth Programs and their families are invited to our free 4-H Kickoff! Facilitators from 4-H are bringing out their activities and fun. Pick up your Passport to 4-H Live, activate it and get ready for around-the-world fun. The passport will have dates and times for events through April. Completed passports will be entered in a drawing at the end of the month.

Volunteer Appreciation Party
April 10 • 5-7 p.m.
Did you volunteer as a coach, tutor or mentor? Then join us for food, games and prizes to take home. Volunteers are the life blood of Youth Programs and during April we host our annual appreciation party. Bring the family and allow us to do all the work. We will send out the invites for your RSVP. If you want to be a volunteer, call us and we will show you the way.

April Social Time
April 17 • 4:30-6 p.m.
Warmer weather means Banana Split time! Active members of youth programs are invited to attend this free event to build their own banana split. In addition, we will have a Haiku Poetry Station to build your own Haiku and “open mic” for those who want to sing, read poetry or tell a story on “I Am Proud To Be A Military Child”. Participants on the microphone will receive a ticket for a door prize.
