Month of the Military Child: Bowling Special Every Sunday in April • 1-4 PM All JBSA Bowling Centers Youth, ages 17 and younger, can get two free games of bowling every Sunday in April at any JBSA Bowling Center. Rental shoes cost $4 per person.
3D Archery Shoot at Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation Center May 4-5 and June 1-2 • 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The 3D Archery Range consists of a course with 30 life-like animal targets such as bears, black panthers, deer, alligators, etc. The targets are set up between 5 & 55 yards at various distances. Traditional (Long Bows and Recurve Bows) and Compound Bows are allowed but no Crossbows. The Camp Bullis ODR has Recurve Bows available to rent for $20 each. Registration is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and participants may start the course as soon as registered. Purchase a Joint Base San Antonio Recreation Park at Canyon Lake annual pass for $100. Buy one and enjoy the lake all year. This pass gets you into the both Sunny Side and Hancock Cove sides of the facility. Otherwise, the daily entry fee for the park is $15 per visit, per vehicle. Annual passes include a vehicle and boat/ trailer pass and are valid for one year from date of issue.
