Fort Sam Houston Independent School District (FSHISD) Board of Trustees Vacancy Jan. 27-Feb. 21 Fort Sam Houston Independent School District (FSHISD) Board of Trustees are now accepting nominations for one vacant seat. FSHISD is seeking a dedicated and community-focused individual to join its Board of Trustees. The positions must be filled by either a military member or DoD civilian living on or employed by Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. To qualify for the board, a volunteer must: • Be a qualified voter • Take the official oath of office • Serve without compensation Trustee will take an official oath of office and serve without compensation for 2 years.
