Canyon Lake Annual Pass

Recreation Park @ Canyon Lake

Purchase a Joint Base San Antonio Recreation Park at Canyon Lake annual pass for $100. Buy one and enjoy the lake all year. This pass gets you into the both Sunny Side and Hancock Cove sides of the facility. Otherwise, the daily entry fee for the park is $15 per visit, per vehicle. Annual passes include a vehicle and boat/ trailer pass and are valid for one year from date of issue. You can also buy a spousal pass for an additional $35 as long as they are over 18 and have a valid DoD ID card. For more information, call (830) 226-5357.

4th of July Golf Events July 4 • 8 AM Shotgun start Joint Base San Antonio Golf Courses Randolph Independence Day Scramble Head to the Golf Course for a two- person scramble. The cost is $20 plus greens fee and cart rental fee. Net and gross will be paid to teams that place. Lackland Independence Day Scramble This is a one-person scramble. The entry is $27 plus greens fee and cart rental. The entry fee includes lunch and prizes. Sign up by July 3. Golfers will be sent their start times and all the necessary information. Fort Sam Houston Red, White, and Blue Tournament This is a two-person scramble event, where golfers will alternate tee boxes on every hole. The entry fee for the event is $20 per person plus greens fee and cart rental fee. The entry fee goes towards the prize fund. Golfers will be sent their start times and all the necessary information. The deadline to register is COB on July 1.

JBSA-Lackland Bob Hope Performing Arts Theater This free show is being hosted at the JBSA-Lackland Bob Hope Performing Arts Theater Saturday July 13th at 7 PM. Mike Super has been featured on hit shows like America's Got Talent and The Ellen Degeneres Show. This FREE Family Friendly show is open to all DOD ID cardholders.

On our "Hard Hat" tour, we will have a guided deep exploration of 15 areas that are not open to the public. The deadline to sign up is July 13 or when full. Teen Music Camp

JBSA Youth Programs

Teen Music Camp July 21-23 JBSA-Randolph Youth Programs Write, and perform music, beats, & poetry! A faculty of top music professionals will teach and inspire camp youth with courses in songwriting, creative writing, music foundation, and performance skill, as well as help campers find their individual voices. Activities will include daily workshops, nightly open mics with group and individual performances, and a canoe trip on the Guadalupe River. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Open to teens, ages 13-18. Price is $175 per youth. JBSA Child and Youth Programs can give parents a much-needed break through the GPAB/PNO Programs. These programs are for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. The cost is $35 per child with a sibling discount or FREE with a Give Parents a Break referral. The last day to register is the Wednesday Prior to the event. 3D Archery Shoot at Camp Bullis ODR

3D Archery Shoot Jan. 4 & 5 and Feb. 1 & 2 JBSA-Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation Center 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The 3D Archery Range features 30 life-like animal targets including bears, black panthers, deer, and alligators. Targets are set up at various distances between 5 & 55 yards. 3D archery is open to the General Public. Traditional (Long Bows and Recurve Bows( and Compound Bows are allowed but No Crossbows. Camp Bullis ODR has Recurve Bows available to rent for $20 each. Registration is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants may start the course as soon as they register. Cost is: $5 for E1-E4, active-duty or medically retired $15 for ages 13 and older $5 for youth ages 12 and younger
