METC Monthly Fitness Challenge May 1-31 JBSA-Fort Sam Houston METC Fitness Center Join us during May to try to complete this fitness challenge. This is open to all eligible METC Fitness Center patrons. Week 1: Most miles run/walked Week 2: Most weight lifted Week 3: Most push-ups completed Week 4: Most free throws made in two minutes Interested patrons should sign up at the Front Desk. This is a METC Students Sports Extramural Event Teams may combine students players from other armed forces branches (Army/Navy/Air Force/Marines/Coast Guard) Free entry and open to all METC Students only. Register your team at the METC Fitness Center no later than November 14. JBSA-FSH METC Fitness Center Saint Patrick's Day 5K Run/Walk March 16 • 8 AM Wear your best St. Pat's Day outfit! Dogs on leashes and strollers are welcomed. This event begins and ends at the Pershing Field Building #3212. Prizes awarded for top male/female finishers. Transportation will be provided for students, volunteers and other participants. The METC fitness center is taking soccer registrations for all interested METC students only. A letter of intent from the unit sports representative is due March 18. A coaches meeting will be held March 18 at the METC Fitness and Sports Center. Games begin on March 26. Games will be played at Pershing Sports Complex. Units may have more than one team.
