National Pickleball Month Tournament JBSA-FSH Jimmy Brought Fitness Center April 1-30 • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. We’re hosting a free month-long tournament to celebrate and highlight this popular sport/activity. Pickleball matches will take place during the lunch hour at Jimmy Brought Fitness Center. The tournament format and schedule will be determined by the number of registrants. Sign-up by COB March 27. Springtime Bench Press Competition April 2-26 | 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays Patrons are invited to come out to see who can bench the most weight. There will be categories for men and women but no weight class. Each patron is to make sure a staff member verifies the weight benched. The man and woman who lift the most weight will be awarded a prize at the end of the month. Open to all JBSA team members. JBSA-Fort Sam Houston METC Fitness Center offers competitive golf at no cost to all DOD ID cardholders ages 18 and older. Golfing is held at the JBSA-FSH Golf Club. League play begins April 9. 502d Force Support Squadron Presents 2023 CENTRAL POST MAY & JUNE EVENTS Tire Flip Competition | May 6-31 | Mon. - Fri. | 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Free Patrons are encouraged to try to flip the tire as many times as they can in a two-minute time frame. There will be two categories for Men and Women. Patrons must make sure that a staff member is available to verify the amount of tire flips within the two-minute time frame. Circuit Training | June 3-28 | Mon. - Fri. | 6 - 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Free This circuit training will run for a duration of two hours in the morning or afternoon and is designed to increase cardio endurance and core strength.
