Family Child Care Providers

JBSA Family Child Care

Get paid while caring for your own children! Receive $100 per week for each family household member ages 2 and under and $75 for ages 2-7 years Receive additional $2 an hour for mission related care provided during the hours of 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. ($3 per hour for accredited providers) Recruit a new provider and receive $500 after they have been certified for 90 days! Do you need care during the summer break? Beginning March 28, parents can log into militarychildcare.com to make their request for care during the summer break. Once the offer is made, parents need to contact their local Youth Center to secure their reservation. Kids Carnival April 2 • 9 a.m. to 1p.m. Come join Fort Sam Houston Youth Programs for a full day of family and community activities scheduled for all ages. The event includes yard games, kickball, refreshments and more. This is free and open to all youth and families. Join us as we celebrate the JBSA-FSH military child. For more information, call (210) 221-3502. Purple-Up Festival April 30 • 9 a.m. to noon Join Lackland Youth Programs as we celebrate our amazing kids. This will be a great event for the entire family to enjoy some fun activities, games, nutritious snacks and outdoor activities. For more information, call (210) 671-2388. The Purple Up Party! April 30 • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. In celebration of the Month of the Military Child, youth and their parents are invited to the Purple Up Party! There will be music, games, interactive displays, refreshments, organizational booths, giveaways and lots of fun. The event will be held at Heritage Park. Before & After School Care Registration

JBSA Youth Programs

Visit MilitaryChildCare.com to request Before and After School Care for children ages 5-12 years old. Weekly fees are based on total family income. Randolph children must attend Kindergarten. Fort Sam Houston and Lackland children must attend Pre-K. Contact your local School-Age Care Program for registration and details. Registration will continue until each facility reaches capacity. Flag Football Registration

Flag Football Registration Practices begin Aug. 19 and the season ends Oct. 26 Register at your local Youth Programs via CYPBMS by July 31 It is time to check down, snap, and pass for a touchdown! JBSA is ready for an enterprise-wide flag football season. Registration runs July 1-31. Register at your local Youth Programs via CYPBMS by July 31. Always ensure you have a current sport physical and immunization record on file when you register. Practices begin Aug. 19, and the season ends Oct. 26. The JBSA Youth Programs at each location are closed on Oct. 1 in order to help make the 2022 Oktoberfest a bigger and better event for all DoD ID cardholders. We encourage all families to come out and participate in this event which includes live music, interactive inflatables,  lots of youth activities, a shopping market, a biergarten and an official tapping of the keg. The JBSA Youth Programs at each location are closed on Oct. 15 in order to help make the 2022 Fall Fest, at the area above the JBSA-Lackland Amphitheater from 9:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., a bigger and better event for all DoD ID cardholders.  We encourage all families to come out and participate in this event which includes live music, interactive inflatables,  lots of youth activities, a shopping market, a petting zoo, lots of fire vehicle to include Sparky, a hay maze and free pumpkins (while they last).
