Winter Basketball Registration

Registration takes place from Oct. 1 - Nov. 10. Ages groups are 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-13. All participants must provide a current sports physical and immunizations record at time of registration. Cost is $55.

Murph Workout Challenge

LAK Chapman Fitness Center

The JBSA-Lackland Chapman Fitness Center has the Murph Workout Challenge every Monday. This includes a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 body squats and a 1-mil cool down run. Don't forget that this must all be completed wearing a 200 lb. vest or body armor. This workout is named after Navy Lt. Michael Murphy who was killed in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Right Arm Night

Come out to the Fort Sam Houston Golf Club House for Right Arm Night! This event is meant to enhance camaraderie and espirit de corps and build networking opportunities. This takes place the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month from 4-6 PM. There will be seating indoors and on the patio. Beverages are available for purchase along with complimentary popcorn.

Time of the Season Musical

The JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Harlequin Theatre presents a new musical by Shawn Kjos! Time of the Season runs Fridays and Saturdays Nov. 5-20 at 8 p.m. at the Sam Houston Theater, 2472 Stanley Road. Doors open at 7 p.m. The show is a concert-style music revue spotlighting classic rock-n-roll from the late 1960s with songs such as The Sound of Silence, Gimmie Shelterand Stairway to Heaven. Get your tickets now for a show you will not want to miss! The public is welcome and tickets range from $22 to $10 per person.
