Kids Bowl Free

JBSA Bowling Centers

The annual Kids Bowl Free program is upon us! This program is available to all JBSA youth and registration is required. Kids receive two free games of bowling each day (rental shoes not included). Must register at kidsbowlfree.com, select military bowling centers, then select JBSA Bowling Center of your choice. Once registered, select available times to receive the two free games of bowling. Summer Ball League

LAK Skylark Bowling Center

Bowl in this summer league for $25 per person, per week at the JBSA-Lackland Skylark Bowling Center and get a free bowling ball. Format is “trio teams”, no-tap. Sign up as a team of three or as a single player. Limit 16 teams - register early. For more information, call (210) 671-3191.

RND Youth Programs

Randolph Youth Programs offers two summer sport camps! To register or for more information, call (210) 652-3298. Soccer Camp June 6-9 | 9-11 AM The Randolph Soccer camp gives all school age children, ages 5-10 a safe way to take first steps toward skills/drills while learning the fundamentals of soccer. Our camp focuses on footwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. The cost is $40 per youth. Volleyball Camp June 6-9 | 9-11 AM This volleyball camp is designed for youth age 9 and older. Our camp is created to take athletes to the next level by building a solid foundation through practicing the skills of the game. Register in advance as space is limited to 15 participants. The cost is $40 per youth.

Youth Sports Clinics from Around the World

FSH Youth Programs

Youth Sports is hosting clinics for youth ages 5-12 to build on the fundamentals of baseball, soccer, flag football, cheerleading, archery and basketball. Cost is $25 per youth, per week. All clinics are held Monday through Thursday beginning with a Soccer clinic held June 7-10; Baseball clinic held June 21-24; Flag Football and Cheer held July 5-8; Basketball clinic held July 19-22; and Archery clinic held August 2-5. Name the Bar Contest

LAK Skylark Bowling Center

The Skylark Bowling Center is re-branding the bar and seeking a new identity. All contestants will submit one suggestion for a name for the bar. Entry must include the contestants name and contact number. Get your suggestion in from May 16 - June 1! The grand prize is a family four pack which includes 2 hours of bowling for 4 guests, shoe rentals, 1 large 2-topping pizza and 4 fountain drinks. The grand re-branding party takes place June 24 from 3-6 PM. The party will include ribbon cutting/name reveal, appetizers, drink specials and contests (3 frame beat the manager, pool table skill shot and trivia contest). Come out and enjoy the U.S. Army North Concert Series presented by the 78th Army Band featuring Liberty Vibes, a latin band. Join us in Watkins Terrace at the Fort Sam Houston Splash Pad! This event us open to DoD ID cardholders and their guests. The Fort Sam Houston Splash Pad is located on Watkins Blvd. next to the Ed Parker Youth Center. No seating will be provided, please bring blankets or chairs to enjoy the show!
