JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Golf course offers active-duty military an opportunity to improve their golf skills. There is no cost to participate so golfers can take full advantage of tips to tweek all facets of their game. Clinics are held the first and third Saturdays of the month. This clinic is available to the first sixteen sign-ups. Register by the Wednesday prior to the desired class date. All active-duty military receive $10 off an 18-hole round of golf with a golf cart or $5 off an 18-hole round of golf if walking. The price for Twilight Golf is $5 off whether with a cart or walking.

We will have all your favorite sundae flavors and toppings to make the perfect hot summer day treat. National French Fry Day July 13 | 4:30-5:30 PM Explore different techniques to make a french fry from using the air fryer to the oven. All your favorite toppings and condiments will be available to sample the best french fries in San Antonio. Game Night July 29 | 4-6 PM Join us for a night of fun and games! Challenge your friends or family members to Scrabble, Monopoly, Life, Sorry, Cranium, Clue, gym games, computer games and much more! Bring your favorite board game or family friendly gym games to set up and play. Music, refreshments and fun will be available! Events are open to all Youth Program Members & their families.

July 8 & 22 | Aug. 5 & 19 Please join us at the JBSA Recreation Park at Canyon Lake at the Hancock Cove Beach for a two-hour class on kayaks and paddle board safety and operation. This class is required in order to rent kayaks and paddle boards. After completion, each guest will receive a certification card. This card must be presented each time you rent the equipment. The cost for the class is $20 per person. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a sponsor during the class and during equipment rental.
