25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Theater May 10-26 The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by William Finn, with a book written by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman with additional material by Jay Reiss. The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in Putnam Valley Middle School. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a fast-paced crowd pleaser and an instant theatre patron favorite. Come join in the fun at the Fort Sam Theatre, building 2270. Reservations are not necessary for DOD ID cardholders. Civilian reservations must be made no later than Tuesday at 5 p.m. to gain gate access for the weekend shows. Tickets available for purchase one-hour prior to show time.
