502d Force Support Squadron Presents R4R Ziplining at Helotes Hill Country Ziplines May 11 • June 8 • July 13 • Aug. 10 • Sep. 14 | 9 AM This event is only open to Active Duty personnel Participants will have the opportunity to zip over the Texas Hill Country, climb towers 14-45 feet tall and feel the rush of speeds up to 35 miles per hour. License to Carry Classes

Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation

License to Carry Handgun classes are held at the Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC). Students must be age 18 or older to register for the class unless they are active-duty military. You need to be familiar with your firearm; no first-time shooters. Students must also meet federal qualifications to purchase a handgun. The cost of the class is $80. Successful completion of the class is recommended prior to purchasing a handgun. SAN ANTONIO MISSIONS BIKE TOUR Sept. 21 ● 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. You probably know you should always, “Remember the Alamo”, but did you know San Antonio is home to four other historical missions? Join us as we bike along the paved “Hike and Bike” trail totaling 14 miles roundtrip! We will stop at each mission (about 2.5 miles away from one another) to learn about San Antonio’s unique history. Ages 8 years and older are welcome (must know how to confidently ride a bike and ride 14 miles). The cost of this program is $30, and it includes roundtrip transportation from Lackland Outdoor Recreation, bikes, and safety equipment. The deadline to sign up is Sept. 13 or when filled. Bring your little prince or princess to the Parr Club for a tea party featuring Princesses Anna and Rapunzel with Queen Elsa and Barbie. Enjoy music, games, food and crafts. Indoor Triathlon

RND Rambler Fitness Center

Indoor Triathlon • Free Sept. 23-27 • Normal operating hours Challenge yourselves to conquer this fun but demanding event at the Rambler Fitness Center. Each participant must complete the 15-mile treadmill/indoor track walk/run, 30-mile stationary bike ride, and five-mile row to complete the triathlon. Pick up the indoor triathlon challenge tracking booklet from the Fitness Center staff. As each portion of the event is completed, have a fitness team member initial that item before moving on.
