JBSA-Lackland Gateway Hills Golf Course April 5 8 a.m. shotgun start Don't be fooled by the title, the Gateway Hills Golf Course Greenskeepers want revenge! The individual stroke play tournament costs $65 per player. This fee included cart, greens fees and prizes. Registration is through The Greens at JBSA App and the deadline to register is April 4. 3D Archery Shoot

Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation

3D Archery Shoot April 5 & 6 JBSA-Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation Center 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The 3D Archery Range features 30 life-like animal targets including bears, black panthers, deer, and alligators. Targets are set up at various distances between 5 & 55 yards. 3D archery is open to the General Public. Traditional (Long Bows and Recurve Bows( and Compound Bows are allowed but No Crossbows. Camp Bullis ODR has Recurve Bows available to rent for $20 each. Registration is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants may start the course as soon as they register. Cost is: $5 for E1-E4, active-duty or medically retired $15 for ages 13 and older $5 for youth ages 12 and younger

JBSA-Lackland Fitness and Sports in partnership with Arnold Hall Community Center Register in person on April 5, at 9 a.m.  Matches start at 10 a.m. The grand prize is a trophy and a Nintendo Switch.  There will be other prize drawings at the event.

Celebrating the Strength Behind the Uniform: Military Kids April 5 • 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April is the Month of the Military Child - a time to honor the resilience, courage, and sacrifices of our youngest heroes. Join us at Randolph Heritage Park as we celebrate military children across JBSA.  This celebration is free to the community and will showcase numerous games, activities, music, bounce houses, food trucks, and much more. Boat Driving Course

Recreation Park @ Canyon Lake

Learn how to drive a boat safely at the JBSA Recreation Park @ Canyon Lake Hancock Cove Marina. This two-hour boat driving course covers boat operation, rules of the water and safety guidelines. This course is open to all DOD ID cardholders. The cost for the class is $60 per person and there are limited spots. To reserve your spot, call (830) 964-3576 or email [email protected]. Participants must be 21 years or older and have completed one of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Boater Safety courses.

Birthday Lunch April 8 • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Celebrate your March and April birthdays at the Parr Club and enjoy a complimentary lunch buffet at no cost for the birthday member. The cost is $12 for non-birthday members and $15 for all others. Coupons will not be accepted.
