National Chocolate Milkshake Day Sept. 12 • 4:30-5:30 p.m. National Chocolate Milkshake Day brings chocolate and ice cream lovers together and is without a doubt, a treat day. National Taco Day Celebration Oct. 4 • 4:30-5:30 p.m. It doesn’t have to be Tuesday to enjoy your favorite soft or hard-shelled tortilla treat. The history of tacos predates the arrival of Europeans in Mexico. Anthropological evidence shows the native people living in the lake region of the Valley of Mexico traditionally ate tacos filled with small fish. It’s unclear why the word taco was used to describe this native food. One suggested origin is the word taco, which means stuff or to stuff. For more information, call (210) 221-3502.
