Pre-Teen Mega Lock-In Sept. 27 & 28 • 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Randolph is hosting a 12-hour lock-in at JBSA Randolph Youth Center. All JBSA pre-teens ages 9-12 are invited to participate in the lock-in. The cost for this event is $20 per pre-teen. Please register in CYPBMS by Sept. 20 to reserve a slot for your pre-teen to have a great night of fun, food, and endless activities.

Bring your favorite lawn chair or blanket to sit on. The movies will begin shortly after dusk in the field next to the FamCamp office, bldg. 2804. Golf Club Championship Individual Stroke Play Event Sept. 28 & 29 • 8 a.m. Shotgun Start JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Golf Course $60 per person + cart & greens fees Register and pa before close of business on Sept. 25. The entry fee includes lunch after the final round and prizes on the final day of the event. The Pro Shop will make pairings for the first round and pairings for the following two rounds will be based on score. All registration will be done through the JBSA Golf App.

502d Force Support Squadron Presents 2024 CENTRAL POST SEPTEMBER EVENTS Tire Flip Competition Sept. 3-30 • Monday-Friday 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. We invite you to come and flip the tire as many times as you can in a two-minute time frame. There will be two categories for men and women. Patrons need to make sure that a staff member is available to verify the amount of tire flips within the two-minute time frame. The man and woman who flips the most will be awarded a prize at the end of the month. Circuit Training Sept. 3-30 • Monday-Friday 6-8 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This circuit training will run for a duration of two hours in the morning or afternoon and is designed to increase cardio endurance and core strength. National Chocolate Milkshake Day Sept. 12 • 4:30-5:30 p.m. National Chocolate Milkshake Day brings chocolate and ice cream lovers together and is without a doubt, a treat day. Forget the calories for just one day and enjoy a sweet, tall, thick and delicious chocolate milkshake with your friends! Mix and match ice cream flavors with all your favorite toppings or try something new and pay homage to one of America’s favorite past-times! National Taco Day Celebration Oct. 4 • 4:30-5:30 p.m. It doesn’t have to be Tuesday to enjoy your favorite soft or hard-shelled tortilla treat. The history of tacos predates the arrival of Europeans in Mexico. Anthropological evidence shows the native people living in the lake region of the Valley of Mexico traditionally ate tacos filled with small fish. It’s unclear why the word taco was used to describe this native food. One suggested origin is the word taco, which means stuff or to stuff. For more information, call (210) 221-3502.
