Military Golf Classic

JBSA Golf Courses

The JBSA Military Golf Classic is back and takes place May 25-26 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start each day. This is a two-person team flighted competition and DOD ID cardholders and civilians are eligible to enter. The lowest verifiable handicap of each team will be used for flighting purposes. There will be two rounds with a scramble format for day one and best ball format for day two. Payouts will be in the form of a credit book. All players must submit a USGA Handicap verified by a course official. The entry fee is $180, which includes greens fee, cart rental, range balls and payouts at both locations. Memorial Day Weekend Bowling Special

Memorial Day Weekend Bowling Special May 25-26 JBSA-Randolph Bowling Center Come out to the Randolph Bowling Center to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend. The special bowling rate for the entire weekend is (excluding Galactic Bowling) $20 per hour, per person with a $3.50 shoe rental. The Randolph Bowling Center is closed on Memorial Day.

Open Play Paintball

Play paintball individually or in small groups. Sign-up ahead of time to reserve and solidify your spot or walk-in the day of. Players sign-up for 1 of 2 timeslots. The morning time slot: 9:45 a.m. to noon. The afternoon time slot is 12:15-2:30 p.m. Fee includes access to paintball field for 1.5 hours, 500 rounds of paint, marker with muzzle covering, unlimited air refills, protective face covering, and lunch deal. Lunch includes 1 hot dog, 1 drink, and a bag of chips. Ages 14 and older are welcome to play. Complimentary transportation can be provided to players that live in Lackland dorms. Recreation Park @ Canyon Lake

STAR GAZING May 31 | 10-11 p.m. See the solar system and beyond like never before through powerful telescopes. This time of year we should have excellent views of many of the planets in our solar system as well as constellations and deep space objects.
